Figures entered into the calculators

Profit Radar's calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to our server. Your browser may save them on your own device so that they are there on your next visit. You can delete them by pressing "Reset example" in the calculator or by clearing your browser's site data.

User account and Subscribe to Tutkat

When you create an account and subscribe to Tutkat, we store your email address, your name, the account type (person or company), the company name and Business ID if you provide them, the radars you choose, the digest frequency, and the account creation and confirmation times. The password is not stored; instead, a salted hash of it (PBKDF2) is stored. The legal basis for processing is contract (delivering the subscription) and your consent. The data is kept in a database restricted to the Cloudflare EU region for as long as the account exists. You can change your subscriptions and delete your account at any time on the My account page, and every digest includes an unsubscribe link.

Login cookie

Login uses one essential cookie (tutkat_s), which is valid for 30 days or until you log out.

Newsletter and marketing

We send a newsletter, tips, information about new radars and offers from partners only if you have given a separate marketing consent on the subscription form or on the My account page. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition for subscribing to Tutkat digests (Act on Electronic Communications Services 917/2014 section 200, GDPR Article 7). We store the consent and the time it was given or withdrawn. You can withdraw your consent at any time on the My account page or with the cancellation link in every message. We do not disclose your email address to partners.

Newsletter subscription and downloadable guides

You can also subscribe to the newsletter without an account. We then store your email address, the time of subscription, the page you subscribed from and your language. The subscription takes effect only when you confirm it via the link sent to your email; an unconfirmed subscription is deleted after 3 days. When you request a free guide, we send the download link to your email and do not use the address for marketing unless you separately tick the newsletter box. We keep subscriber data for as long as the subscription is active and the record of cancellation for no more than 2 years.

Payments and orders

When you purchase a paid service, we store the order details (product, amount, time, payment method and billing details). Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., which acts as an independent controller for payment transactions; we do not see your card details. Vouchers forming part of the accounts are kept for six years from the end of the financial year in accordance with the Accounting Act. The details of the listing you provide when buying a directory entry are published on the radar's page.

Sending emails

Digests and confirmation messages are sent through an email service that acts as a data processor. We do not use tracking pixels in our messages.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is a login cookie. We count page views and general actions (for example using the calculator, copying a template, moving to a tool's page) cookie-free as aggregates: we store only the page address, the name of the action, the name of the referring site and the device type (mobile/computer) as daily counts. We do not store IP addresses, cookies or other identifiers, so an individual user cannot be identified. The aggregates are kept for at most 400 days.

Location of the data

The sites and the waiting list run on Cloudflare services. Cloudflare acts as a data processor under the EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to inspect, correct and delete your data and to withdraw your consent. Send a request to [email protected]. You can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman.
